Barline syrups are a unique technology for creating perfect flavors based on pre-lightened cane sugar. The Barline brand syrups have been produced in Russia for 17 years. Leading experts in the field of alcoholic beverages were involved in shaping the brand, which saved time on market research as consumer needs and quality criteria for successful product popularization were known before the project implementation. Initially, the focus was on contract manufacturing: small batches of syrups were produced at a private plant according to set tasks. It was a narrow range of the most popular flavors (coconut, grenadine, banana, melon, lime, Blue Curaçao) used in cocktail preparation, effectively replacing expensive positions of foreign manufacturers. There was a need to use syrups in cocktail recipes involving the stir method. Mixing beverages with higher density in a mixing glass requires more effort. To solve this problem, the recipe density was reduced by 10%. Thus, the sweetness of the syrups remained practically unchanged while the liquidity increased, allowing the syrup to dissolve in the cocktail faster.
As the brand became more popular, there was a need to expand production and distribution network. The decision to establish a full-fledged production base with its own artesian well helped to meet the demand for the required volume of products. Over 4 years, Barline syrup sales volumes grew more than 5 times. Contracts with well-known suppliers of natural fruit and berry extracts allowed the use of premium selected raw materials, expanding the Barline syrup range to 78 flavors and presenting 5 new products annually.
At present, the company's leading technologists do not stop at the achieved results. In addition to constantly improving the formula of existing syrups, new types of products have been developed: toppings based on natural ingredients, stevia-based syrups of the Fitness Syrup line, as well as 100% natural fruit and berry purees.
