Viña Campo Viejo was established on the fertile soils of the Spanish Rioja region in 1959. Today, this estate covers almost 400 hectares. The facility is equipped with modern functional equipment, yet remains in complete harmony with the surrounding environment. This winery was the first in Spain to certify its carbon footprint, demonstrating Campo Viejo's commitment to caring for the environment and the lives of future generations. The grape ripening process at Campo Viejo is carefully monitored according to recommendations tailored to each specific vineyard plot. Traditional production methods are preferred here. For example, during vinification, the juice is extracted only under the weight of the berries, without the use of mechanical presses. French and American oak barrels are used for aging. Campo Viejo wines blend the longstanding winemaking traditions of Rioja with a new progressive style that satisfies even the most discerning palates of today. The range includes both the classic ripe and rich Tempranillo typical of the region and a trendy tropical rosé. Another interesting feature of Campo Viejo is that its lead winemakers are women, who approach the wine production processes with their inherent care and attention to detail. Currently, the Campo Viejo brand belongs to the largest French brand, Pernod Ricard. The winery's products consistently receive recognition from enthusiasts in the form of numerous awards and accolades.
